Grant Request

Our Mission

The Georgia United Foundation® is committed to improving the quality of life for children and families in the communities we serve. The majority of our funding supports Georgia United community service programs. If your organization is interested in making a grant request, please fill out the Grant Request Form below and complete it in full. Only organizations with tax-exempt status under IRS Section 501(c)(3) will be considered for a grant.

Requests

The grant request application period is open January 3 – July 1. Grant sizes are typically in the range of $250 – $2,500. The exception to this policy is regarding the student scholarship and School Crashers programs, which have a separate application process. All grant applications will be subject to the approval of the Georgia United Foundation Board. The Georgia United Foundation reserves the right to refuse or limit the amount of any grant at its sole discretion. The duration of the review process can vary and is determined by the Board’s schedule.

The Foundation welcomes unsolicited Grant Requests to fund conforming programs that align with the mission of the Foundation. Also, from time to time, the Foundation itself may identify programs in which it desires to invest due to the outcomes the program achieves. It does so by reviewing past grantees, conducting research on effective programs within its areas of focus, and through referrals.
