Georgia United Foundation has broadened our scholarship program to include students at various levels and stages of their academic journeys, ensuring that support is extended to a diverse group of deserving individuals. These scholarships reflect our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our community.
This scholarship honors Georgia United’s first African American board member, Dr. James Williams, and offers financial assistance to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). To apply, you must be enrolled as a full-time sophomore or junior at an accredited HBCU during the 2026-2027 school year. Applications will be accepted through the African-American Credit Union Coalition. Multiple winners could be chosen, with the total amount split among them.

Georgia United Foundation supports multiple scholarships through local colleges across the state including:
