Scholarships for College Undergraduates

We're thrilled to expand our scholarship program to include college undergraduates! We have broadened our program to include students at various levels and stages of their academic journeys, ensuring that support is extended to a diverse group of deserving individuals. These new scholarships reflect our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our community.

Scholarships will be awarded to remarkable upperclassmen, recognizing their potential and supporting their dreams. These scholarships provide more than just financial aid; they open doors to new opportunities, encouraging students to pursue their goals with confidence. We're proud to play a part in propelling their educational journeys forward and can't wait to see the impact they'll make within their communities and beyond.

Success is not about what you accomplish in life, it is about what you inspire others to do. With the Vernon E. Carnes Scholarship, I plan to attend the University of Michigan and apply the award towards my tuition. Upon graduation, my ultimate goal is to create a Youth Orchestra that would target 'at risk' youth as performers in my community. Music matters in our community.

Thanks to my Georgia United scholarship, I’m not only gaining academic knowledge from my classes at Mercer, I’m gaining insight into who I am and who I’ll be. My scholarship funds enabled me to complete a summer leadership development training in Maine which were the most rewarding and life-changing eight days of my life. My Georgia United scholarship is helping me learn exactly how I will change the world. I am eternally grateful for the confidence that the board showed in me last Spring.
