Scholarships for Educators
$5,000 AWARDED TO GEORGIA EDUCATORS
The Frank Thach Scholarship for educators seeking advanced degrees pays homage to the roots of Georgia United Credit Union. This initiative honors the legacy of supporting teachers by providing financial assistance to those furthering their education. It's a testament to Georgia United's enduring commitment to the educational community, acknowledging its origins as a credit union dedicated to serving and uplifting teachers.
Congratulations to the 2024 Winners!
We are excited to announce the ten educators who will receive $500! Each scholarship recipient is a certified educator teaching at a Georgia public school and enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing an advanced teaching or education degree.
To apply, educators had to submit an online application with a 250-word essay answering the question, "Why is an advanced degree important to you, and what meaningful impact do you hope to make on students and in your classroom?"
