Thank you, Georgia United Credit Union, for over 30 years of donation support through your Wish Tree program. Your generous credit union members and employees truly make the holidays brighter for foster children in DeKalb County.
- Jerry K., Family & Community Partnership Program Director, Georgia Department of Human Services
The Georgia United Foundation takes great pride in being active in our local communities and believes that giving back is not only the right way — but the only way.
- Debbie Smith, President & CEO, Georgia United Credit Union
What an amazing program! Thank you to all the School Crashers contributors for making our newly created faculty recharge room a reality for the staff at Windsor Forest Elementary School. The staff looks forward to recharging here to focus on increasing student motivation and achievement.
- Dr. Trikia G., Principal, Windsor Forest Elementary
Habersham County DFCS is so thankful to Georgia United Foundation for partnering with us to provide Christmas assistance to some of the county’s most vulnerable citizens. At any given time, we have approximately 75-100 children in difficult situations, many of whom are placed with family friends or extended relatives who receive no financial assistance. This wonderful partnership between Georgia United and Habersham County DFCS furthers community cohesion and for that we are truly grateful!
- Connie J., Family Preservation Case Manager, Habersham Co. Division of Family & Children Services
We have hundreds of children in our foster care system who have been abused or neglected and deserve special love and care. We appreciate Georgia United's long-term partnership in helping us meet their needs during the holiday season.
- Delores B., Fulton County Division of Family and Children Services
On behalf of everyone at Rockdale County Department of Family and Children Services, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generous donations and sponsorship with Rockdale County families and children. It was heartwarming knowing that a child woke up on Christmas morning with a smile, while opening their gifts that you so generously gave.
- Veronica P., Director, Rockdale County Department of Family and Children Services
Words could never express how amazing it feels to enter our renovated spaces. The difference between the before and afters is like night and day. The faculty, staff and students were totally shocked by the upgrades provided through the School Crashers Grant from Georgia United Foundation and program sponsors. I am a 23 year educator in the Dekalb County School District. This by far is the best thing that has ever happened to me as an employee. We cannot thank you enough for choosing us for this unique opportunity. The Salem Middle School family is eternally grateful.
- Tiffanie B., Head Counselor, Salem Middle School
What a wonderful gift from a local community partner. Your commitment to improving the quality of life for children and families in the communities that we live is evident through your donation. The $1,000 from Georgia United Foundation will be used to support one foster youth for a year.
- Susie W., Children First, Inc.
The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation values the partnership of Georgia United Credit Union. Your support plays a vital role in our efforts to promote financial education initiatives, offer scholarships and grants to assist credit union employees with the training they need to achieve professional excellence, provide financial relief for credit union staff and volunteers when disaster strikes, and support credit unions in achieving their own community development objectives. Words alone can’t express how appreciative we are!
- Bobbi G., Foundation Director, League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates
Because of the funding provided by the Georgia United Credit Union Foundation, combined with additional grant money from another donor, we will now be able to add security systems to our Gordon and Murray County Club locations. We appreciate your partnership and generosity!
- Hannah R., Director of Grants & Foundations, Boys & Girls Club
